To begin, chain desired number of stitches. Add 4 chains to this. Yarn over from back to front twice.
Insert the hook in the 5th chain from hook. These 4 chains make the height of the next stitch.
Pull up a loop. (4 loops on hook)
Yarn over, pull through 2 loops. (3 loops on hook)
Yarn over, pull through 2 loops. (2 loops on hook)
